I just finished reading the book "Ill-Gotten Gains" by our school mate Claude Eubanks. Great read !! Sure brought back a lot a memories of the area and the hard times that our parents lived thru. Now I want to get his next one, but they are kinda hard to find.

Wish I lived close enough to visit your museum. The photos sure look inviting. Is there a place to view the names of the veterns?

That's a good idea Johnnie! I will see if I can do something about that! Thanks!!!

Jack, you provided beautiful pictures of my Lavaca family sometime ago. I just wanted to say thank you again and ask if the museum has any birth or death records available. Nettie Allen Brown Is in the Lavaca Cemetery with her husband, George William Brown and I can't find any info on the Allen family.

Jack, I also wanted to say, it was most interesting to learn about the lavacaberry. Have you covered that subject in the museum?
